What is this site?
This is LikeMyHaiku.com, a site where you can read and rate haiku poems. If you're a poet, and most people are, just create an account to add your own haiku and see how much people like them. You can also write and receive messages and comments on each haiku, see poet profiles, haiku rankings, voting graphs, lots of good stuff.What is a Haiku?
A haiku is a simple poem, usually three lines with 5-7-5 syllable structure. For example:This is a haiku
Five, seven, five syllables
In only three lines
However, not only are there many more rules if you want them, there's also creative fun to be found in breaking even these simplest rules, so this site does not impose any. Aside from a 100 character limit, the haiku you post here can take any format you wish.
